Album photo shoot

This week I was down in Brighton and Eastbourne for the photo shoot for the album.

I was working with Stew Smith design (www.smeezer.com) and Andy Hutch photography (www.andyhutch.com)

I had a great day and loads of the fun. Can’t wait for the artwork! It’s gonna be amazing!

January

Jan has been a really cool month and a great start to 2010.
I Was involved in some great events including LNS @ city church, Big Push and YFC event in Warrington.
I also played at a cool golf course (see photos) - it was a small setting but a really great time of worship.

New songs for Jan
This month I’ve been using 3 new songs:
Revelation Song - I’ve known this song for a while, but I heard the Jesus Culture version and the “Philips, Craig & Dean” version and thought we need to use this song
In Your Presence (Chorus) - a friend of mine posted a video on facebook of Stevie Wonder singing this. It’s by Jason Upton and it’s a really simple and powerful chorus. Check it out
Your Love Never Fails by Chris McClarney - I did some co-leading with a very good friend of mine Phil Wilkes and he used this song. I feel it’s a real now song. It was also free song of the month @ www.kingsway.co.uk

The album is due out in May and I can’t wait for it come out!

2010 Goals:

• To go deeper with God
• To be available for God to do whatever he wants in my life
• To learn more
• To be the best husband I can be
• To get out of my comfort zones and stretch myself
• To be more disciplined
• That the album will: impact peoples lives, change atmospheres, bring heaven to earth

• To see myself as God sees me

2009 - Brainstorm

2009 has been an awesome year! (Probably my best yet) – This is my brainstorm of what I’ve been learning, doing, seeing and living in 2009

• A Year of seeing my dreams start to happen
• A year of increase (work, finance, gifting, church, family)
• Learning I am the righteousness of God in Christ
• Learning to Trust and keep trusting in God– no matter what we face He will get us through
• Knowing that He is always faithful!
• Becoming Broken – an increase in compassion, an increase to see justice
• The start of knowing that: We (the church) are the answer – We are the difference – We are the breakthrough
• Knowing the grace of God (blows my mind everyday) – It’s unending, It’s outrageous
• Learning to rest in God’s timing (His is not like ours)
• Learning about and receiving Favour (I am lavished with unmerited favour) I am highly favoured because I am a child of God
• Learning and beginning to know that the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in me
• Learning To see myself through Gods eyes
• Learning It’s so not about me
• Learning that God using me has nothing to do with me, it has everything to do with Him,
• Learning to rest in His finished work, Rest in what He accomplished at the cross, Rest completely in Him
• Seeing our church move to the next level
• Learning that I am to comfortable
• Seeing God do new and amazing things: Seeing lives changed, impacted, healed and restored
