Colossians 2

The Message (MSG)

 11-15 Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It's not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws.

No, you're already in—insiders—

Not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin. 

If it's an initiation ritual you're after, you've already been through it by submitting to baptism. 

Going under the water was a burial of your old life; coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. 

God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! 

All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ's cross. 

He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets.

Song of Solomon 8:5b (ESV)

Under the apple tree I awakened you.
There your mother was in labor with you; there she who bore you was in labor.

One translation of this is that:

> It is like being under the shadow of His wings (psalm 91)

> Resting in the overshadowing

> Resting in His glory

I love this:

Under the apple tree: 

> He awakens us

> He enjoys us 

> He delights in us 

> He speaks to us 

> We birth visions

> We birth revelation

> We birth dreams

There is no greater place than in His presence 

So Enjoying living under the apple tree

Living with the fullness

The fullness of God dwelling within us!

The power within to do more than we could ever imagine!

Eph 3:19-20 (Amp)

19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-

So much MEAT in this:

For those who know the love of Christ are filled with the fullness of God

We are filled with the fullness of God!

The fullness of the God head!

The fullness of the trinity!

And for those who have this fullness have the power within to do more than we could ever imagine, the amplified says “SUPERABUNDANTLY’ far over and above all that we dare ask or think

BOOM!

If we grasp this.............

The power is within us (The same power that raised Christ from the dead)

Romans 8v11:

And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

The fullness of God is within us

The richest measure of the DIVINE presence is within us
